2020 IC&RC Licensure Testing: 

The IC&RC Licensure Exam is "on demand" and provides immediate pass/fail results. We will email you the pass/fail letter upon notification from IC&RC. This is an official letter you are able to submit to DOPL. If you have any issues, please contact us promptly.

Keep in mind a few basics after you Register through AUSAP:

You will be contacted by SMT / ISO Quality Testing at which time you will confirm your registration and select your test date, time and location. 

Important you MUST bring your Candidate Admission Letter with you ON THE DAY OF your exam.  Specifically, a note advises you that "if you do not bring the letter, you will be denied entry to your scheduled exam, and any fees paid will be forfeited".  

AUSAP, as the State Affiliate for IC&RC; our involvement is to Register you for your exam. Once you are registered, it is for you to follow the instructions provided by ISO Quality Testing to Schedule the exam. At this time, you will choose your date, time and location. After you schedule, a letter will be emailed to you confirming your test options along with the deadline to reschedule or cancel your choice. (fees are involved per ISO for not cancelling in the time frame allotted). 

Upon scheduling; you will receive a confirmation letter which is THE Candidate Admission Letter and a reminder about a week before your scheduled exam. This letter begins with: !!! IMPORTANT !!! IMPORTANT !!! IMPORTANT !!! you must bring THIS Candidate Admission Letter with you on the day of the exam. 

Once you are "registered" (by AUSAP) with SMT / ISO you will have 1-year to take this test. You will lose your test fee if you do not handle your testing within that years time.

To cancel your test or reschedule contact ISO promptly. There could be a fee associated, separate to the payment for the test (by SMT / ISO). You are advised the specific, detailed instructions on your Candidate Admission Letter in order to make a change or cancellation.

In order to retake the exam, you will need to fill out a new registration and create a new payment through AUSAP; we will then complete a new registration on your behalf. A "Fail" exam does require a 90-day waiting period to retake the exam.

Fees: 

$210 for AUSAP / NAADAC members for the ADC, AADC, PS & CS

$225 for non-members (of NAADAC / AUSAP) for the ADC, AADC, PS & CS

Upon Passing the exam you will need to contact DOPL to continue your Licensure Process. It is recommended that you have a clear path with DOPL on requirements to obtain your Licensure. 

Practice Test: 

This test is designed to prepare you to take the IC&RC exam (what to expect). You are able to receive the questions and answers, along with the correct answers if necessary, after taking the Practice Test.

The fee for the Practice Exam is $49 (subject to change). You are able to register at your convenience at IC&RC  (Practice Exam fee is separate from the Test Registration Fee). 

Special Accommodations:

Individuals with disabilities and/or religious obligations that require modifications in test administration may request specific procedure changes, in writing, along with your registration to test to AUSAP (mandatory form below).

With the written request, the candidate must provide official documentation of the accommodation requested. Submitted documentation must follow ADA guidelines in that Psychological or Psychiatric Evaluations must have been conducted within the last three years. 

All medical/physical conditions require documentation of the treating Physician’s Examination conducted within the previous three months. Candidates should contact AUSAP to inquire about other necessary documentation.

AUSAP will support appropriate modifications to its procedures when documentation supports the need; based on ADA Guidelines. 

All requests for Special Accommodations must be submitted to AUSAP prior to scheduling your examination. You will receive further information on scheduling your examination with accommodations once your board has reviewed and approved the Special Accommodation request. IC&RC along with SMT / ISO. Documentation could take upwards of 45 days to verify and for IC&RC to work out with you.
